THE PLACE I WANT TO VISIT

Gunung Ledang (also known as Mount Ophir) is a mountain in Ledang district, the state of Johor, Malaysia. Located near the small town of shavings, Malacca. With a height of 1,276 meters [1], Gunung Ledang is the highest mountain in the southern Peninsular Malaysia. If this was on the mountain on a clear day, one can see the Straits of Malacca and Sumatra, Indonesia clearly.

Gunung Ledang is believed to be one of the very rich forest with rare species of plants in any place in this world. It has a forest area and forest hill slope Upper slope. At the peak of this mountain there is a TV and radio transmitting station. transmitting station here is meant for residents of the North Johor and Malacca. RTM TV transmitter station for Gunung Ledang is dedicated to the residents in Kluang, Batu Pahat, Muar, Ledang in Johor and Jasin, Melaka. For other areas in Melaka RTM TV broadcast receiving transmission from Mount Tampin and Mount Telapa Burok. For radio, the FM transmitter is dedicated to listeners across the Malacca State, county Ledang, Muar, Batu Phat and Kluang in Johor and the southern part of Andhra Pradesh as Tampin, Gemencheh, Gemas, City and parts of Jempol.Terdapat also two specialized base stations East Queensland for the emission of Gunung Ledang. Talaannya directed to the eastern Free State to State broadcast FM. Similarly, an FM radio channel talaannya Johor Segamat district routed, Ledang, Muar and Kluang.

Gunung Ledang is usually associated with a legend, the legend of Puteri Gunung Ledang.
